Platform Terms for Professionals

1. About these terms

These Platform Terms govern your use of the Sigmentix Platform as a Professional. By creating a profile, confirming information, or otherwise engaging with the Platform, you agree to these terms.

Sigmentix is currently in the process of formal incorporation in Ireland. References to "Sigmentix", "we", "us", or "our" refer to the Sigmentix business trading from Ireland.

2. Key definitions

• Platform: Sigmentix AI-powered talent intelligence platform at sigmentix.com.
• Professional: you, the individual using the Platform.
• Firm: organisation using the Platform to find/connect with Professionals.
• Profile: information held about you, provided by you or sourced publicly.
• Search: talent search initiated by a Firm through the Platform.
• Professional Data: your personal data you actively choose to share with a Firm.

3. What the platform does and does not do

The platform does

• Maintain a profile of your professional experience, qualifications, and skills.
• Match your profile to Firm searches where criteria are technically met.
• Notify you of relevant opportunities and let you choose whether to engage.
• Let you control what information is shared with specific Firms.
• Provide anonymised, aggregated market intelligence.

The platform does not

• Guarantee any job, interview, introduction, or offer.
• Make career decisions on your behalf.
• Share your personal data with Firms without active participation.
• Act as an employment agency or provide career advice.

4. Your profile - accuracy and responsibility

Your profile may be built partly from publicly available information. You are responsible for ensuring information you provide or confirm is truthful and complete.

• Do not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Update your profile when your circumstances change.

Sigmentix is not responsible for missed opportunities or incorrect matches resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated profile information. Sigmentix does not verify profile accuracy.

5. You are in control of what you share

Your profile supports matching and market intelligence. We do not share your personal data with any Firm without your active choice.

When potential matches arise, you decide:

• Whether to express interest.
• What information to share with the Firm.
• Whether to proceed with engagement.

We present clearly what is shared and who receives it before you confirm sharing.

6. When you share data with a firm

When you actively share data with a Firm through the Platform, that Firm becomes an independent data controller of received data.

• Sigmentix is no longer responsible for how that Firm handles your data.
• The Firm must comply with GDPR and applicable law.
• Firms are contractually bound to use data for role evaluation context.

If you have concerns about a Firm's handling after sharing, contact the Firm directly.

7. Market intelligence and anonymised data

Your profile may contribute to anonymised and aggregated market intelligence (for example compensation benchmarks, tenure patterns, and talent availability).

Individual data is never visible in, or recoverable from, market intelligence outputs. Anonymisation is applied before analysis.

8. Diversity and non-discrimination

Matching is based on technical experience and skills only. Protected characteristics are not processed by the matching system.

9. Communications from Sigmentix

By engaging with the Platform, we may contact you to:

• Notify you about relevant opportunities.
• Share updates, features, and improvements.
• Invite feedback, surveys, or user research.
• Share relevant market or career insights.
• Invite optional events/content where you opted in.

You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time using unsubscribe links or contacting us via the Contact page.

10. Your data rights

Your full rights are set out in our Privacy Policy. In summary, you may access, correct, delete, object to processing, and request human review of automated assessments.

11. Limitation of liability

Sigmentix is not liable for:

• Failure to match your profile to a specific opportunity.
• Firm decisions about interview/progression/appointment.
• Firm conduct or data handling after you choose to share data.
• Loss from inaccurate/incomplete profile information you provided or confirmed.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Irish law.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Irish law and disputes are subject to exclusive jurisdiction of Irish courts.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date indicates latest revision. Material changes are notified before taking effect. Continued use after that point constitutes acceptance.
