Between us, we have worked inside regulated firms, led Executive Search and FinTech recruitment businesses, and sat on regulated boards as INEDs. We know this market because we have lived it.
Paul has spent two decades in recruitment across regulated financial services and FinTech, both in-house and in executive search. He built his first recruitment business, Top Tier Recruitment, as a FinTech sector specialist, and later founded Nexus Search, focused exclusively on Executive Search and Board appointments in FinTech and regulated financial services.
He has also worked inside the system as a Talent Acquisition professional at State Street, managing senior hiring across Ireland, Poland, South Africa, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. That combination of in-house and external experience gave him a clear view of where the process breaks down, and why. Sigmentix is the answer to the problem he kept running into.
Paul is also a professionally accredited coach (PCC, ICF) and spent three years as Coach in Residence at the Techstars Web3 accelerator.
LinkedInMartin brings over 25 years of senior technology leadership to Sigmentix. He spent 16 years as Chief Technology Officer at Cambridge Technology Partners, where he led the Zurich office from 30 to 120 people while overseeing technology strategy, architecture, and senior technical hiring across the firm.
Since leaving Cambridge, Martin has co-founded multiple technology ventures, including Staxe, a blockchain-based investment platform that went through the Techstars Web3 accelerator. He also founded Leubericus Consulting and pd46, a boutique technology and innovation consultancy.
The technical architecture of Sigmentix is built on that depth of experience, combining enterprise-grade engineering with the agility of a founder-led startup.
LinkedInPete started his career in institutional finance, spending a decade at BNP Paribas Securities Services and five years at Fidelity Investments. He has lived the regulated financial services world from the inside, which makes his perspective on senior hiring in this space genuinely credible.
He has served as INED and Chair of the Board (PCF-2B and PCF-3) at Coinbase Ireland Limited for over seven years, giving him direct experience of the PCF appointment process from the board level. He also held a Non-Executive Director role at Pipit Global. That boardroom experience sits at the heart of what he brings to Sigmentix as an advisor.
Beyond his regulated roles, Pete has spent a decade in early-stage venture and accelerator leadership, including as Managing Director of the Techstars Web3 accelerator. He is currently General Partner at Norio Ventures and hosts the MoneyNeverSleeps podcast.
